= COISAS SIMPLES TAMBÉM MERECEM ATENÇÃO =

Há pessoas que não dão atenção às coisas simples, corriqueiras, comuns, sem grande significação, como por exemplo uma pequena ação, um gesto, um objeto, uma palavra que, por mais insignificante que possa parecer, pode guardar dentro de si algo grandioso, alegre, ou mesmo um resultado desesperador e de profunda tristeza.

Quando a Bíblia nos diz que por tudo devemos dar graças, conforme o ensino de Paulo na carta aos efésios, ela não está distinguindo o grande do pequeno. E quantas vezes, prezados leitores de O JORNAL BATISTA, algo aparentemente sem importância pode ser decisivo para nossas vidas ou mesmo esconder conseqüências desagradáveis.

A Palavra de Deus está cheia de exemplos de coisas comuns, simples, pequenas, mas representando alegria ou representando tristeza.

Ficar sem sono. Situação comum nos dias de hoje. A insônia já faz parte da vida atribulada. Mas foi por ter o rei Assuero ficado sem sono numa noite que o povo israelita livrou-se do cativeiro persa (Ester 6.1). Esperar um amigo. Todos nós passamos por tal momento. Mas foi por ficar esperando Silas e Timóteo que Paulo teve a oportunidade de pregar aos atenienses (Atos 16.16).

Lavar-se. Todos nós nos banhamos. Qualquer casa possui chuveiro. Tomar banho é rotina diária. Mas foi por lavar-se no tanque de Siloé, como Jesus ordenara, que o cego começou a ver (João 9.7).

Folha. Nada demais numa folha, que pode ser encontrada em qualquer lugar. Na rua, no quintal, no jardim. Mas foi através de uma folha, no bico da pomba, que Deus anunciou a Noé que as águas do Dilúvio tinham baixado (Gn 8.11).

Aqui, quatro exemplos de coisas comuns se transformando em alegria. Mas podemos mostrar coisas comuns encobrindo, prenunciando, traduzindo decepção e lágrimas.

Galhos. Não despertam a atenção. São cortados pela prefeitura ou pela companhia de força e luz, Viram lixo, são queimados. Mas representaram morte para Absalão, que pendurado neles pelos cabelos, foi transpassado pelo dardo de Joabe (2Sm 18.9 e 14).

Olhar para trás também é coisa comum. Todos nós olhamos até sem percebermos. Durante o culto, enquanto o pregador faz o sermão muitos olham para trás, para os lados. Mas foi por ter olhado para trás que a mulher de Ló foi transformada numa estátua de sal (Gênesis 19.17).

Pedra. Não tem muito valor. Nas ruas, nos rios, em todos os lugares as pedras estão jogadas e nada representara. Mas representou morte para o filisteu Golias. Foi com uma pedra cravada na testa que ele tombou (Sm 17.49).

E o prezado leitor, tem valorizado coisas simples? Tem valorizado a palavra CRER em João 3.16? Quem crê em Cristo se salva, quem não crê se perde. Pense nisso.

= SIMPLE THINGS ALSO DESERVE ATTENTION =

There are people who do not pay attention to simple things, junk, common, without much meaning, like a small action, a gesture, an object, a word that, as insignificant as it may seem, you can store within itself something grand, happy, or even a result of deep and desperate sadness.

When the Bible tells us that we must give thanks for everything, as the teaching of Paul in the letter to the Ephesians, it is not broken much of the small. The Word of God is full of examples of things in common, simple, small, but it represents joy or sadness.

Going without sleep. Common situation today. Insomnia is already part of life grieve.
