= SOMOS NASCIDOS DE NOVO? =

Nascer de novo é converter-se ao Senhor. Esta é a conceituação usual. Mas será que basta uma pessoa afirmar que aceita o sacrifício do Calvário para que se caracterize nela o novo nascimento?

Não, prezados leitores. O afirmar não é suficiente, pois inúmeras pessoas não hesitam quando indagadas se reconhecem o caminho da cruz como único meio de salvação. Respondem com rapidez e até mesmo com certa segurança que só Jesus Cristo é o elo de religação da humanidade pecadora com o trono celestial das misericórdias.

Ocorre que o novo nascimento, regeneração ou nascimento do Alto é marcado por características especiais. Se elas não se manifestarem, evidentemente não se deu a transposição da morte espiritual para a vida eterna.

O crer em Cristo - primeira característica - há que se manifestar verdadeiramente. E outras características emergem e sem elas a vivificação não é real.

Sim, quem nasce de novo vence o pecado, isto é, não pratica a iniqüidade costumeiramente, eis que a semente de Deus habita naqueles que se convertem (1Jo 3.9). Quem nasce de novo pratica o amor em toda a sua essência. O amor de Deus é uma constante na vida das pessoas que experimentam o poder transformador de Jesus Cristo (1Jo 4.7). Quem nasce de novo pratica a justiça, tem vitória sobre o mundo e, também, tem vitória sobre o inimigo de nossas almas (1Jo 2.29; 1Jo 5.4 e 1 Jo 5.18).

Se as características acima enumeradas não afloram em sua vida, prezado leitor de O JORNAL BATISTA, mesmo que você seja membro de uma igreja evangélica e participe ativamente dos trabalhos, ainda não experimentou o novo nascimento. Você apenas reconhece como verdade a morte de Jesus Cristo na cruz e, apesar de saber que ela é o único meio de Salvação, continua perdido, pois não tem permitido que o Espírito Santo do Senhor trabalhe todo o seu ser.

Lembremo-nos daquele velho pastor que, ao término dos cultos, cumprimentava um-a-um os membros da igreja e a todos eles falava: “Deus abençoe o irmão”. E perguntava: “O irmão já nasceu de novo?”

Reflitamos.

= SOMOIS BORN AGAIN? =

Born again is to become the Lord. This is the usual concept. But is simply saying that a person accepts the sacrifice of Calvary in order to characterize it the new birth?

No, dear readers. The state is not sufficient, because many people do not hesitate when asked if recognize the way of the cross as the only means of salvation. Respond quickly and even with some security that only Jesus Christ is the link to religacion of sinful humanity with the heavenly throne of Mercy.

Happens that the new birth, or regeneration of the High birth is marked by special characteristics. If they remain silent, obviously not made the implementation of spiritual death to eternal life.

The belief in Christ - the first feature - is that really occur. And other features emerge, and without them the vivification is not real.

Yes, born again who wins the sin, that is not usually practiced in iniquity, behold, the seed of God dwells in those who become (1Jn 3.9). Who born again practicing love in all its essence. The love of God is a constant in the lives of people who experience the transforming power of Jesus Christ (1Jn 4.7). Who born again practicing justice, have victory over the world and also have victory over the enemy of our souls (1Jn 2:29, 1Jn 5.4 and 1 Jn 5:18).

If the characteristics listed above does not touch on in your life, dear reader, THE OFFICIAL BATISTA, whether you are a member of an evangelical church and participate actively in work, not yet experienced the new birth. You only recognize as true the death of Jesus Christ on the cross and, despite knowing that she is the only means of Salvation, still lost, because we have allowed the Holy Spirit of the Lord all his works be.

Let us remember that old pastor who, at the end of worship, meeting one-on-one members of the church and all of them spoke: “God bless the brother.” And say: “The brother was born again?”
