= COMO ANDA O NOSSO DÍZIMO? =

Nosso dízimo é maneira comum, pois na verdade o dízimo não é nosso, é do Senhor. Nós não damos o dízimo e sim entregamos o dízimo.

E a pergunta que serve de título se torna por demais oportuna neste início de ano. Sim, todos os membros de igreja tiveram, aliás, todos nós tivemos a oportunidade de constatar durante o findo 1993, as inúmeras dificuldades enfrentadas para que pudesse ser levada a bom termo a obra de Deus, pois tudo está muito caro e é impossível desenvolver qualquer programação, por mais simples que seja, sem que se gaste considerável parcela em dinheiro.

Por esta razão, estamos conscientes de que devemos nos posicionar de modo decisivo, quanto à entrega dos dízimos, correta e regularmente.

Se dentre os queridos leitores de O JORNAL BATISTA há irmãos que, por qualquer motivo, não entregam os dízimos ou, se entregam, o fazem irregularmente, pulando meses, por exemplo, cremos que o momento é oportuno para uma profunda reflexão. Se nós, os evangélicos, não contribuirmos efetivamente para a proclamação do Evangelho de Cristo, que é urgente e deve ser imediata e completa, quem fornecerá os suprimentos de ordem material para a obra?

É evidente que temos que orar, trabalhar, pregar, distribuir folhetos, participar dos cultos, reuniões, congressos; temos que cantar, compor, executar instrumentos, escrever para jornais e revistas, ministrar na EBD... mas, será que nossa participação estará completa sem que entreguemos os dízimos ao Senhor?

Prezados irmãos. A entrega dos dízimos deve ser uma atitude de fé, de convicção. Ora, se o crente tem a convicção de que um lugar lhe está reservado nas mansões celestiais, face à sua condição de salvo, como não ter convicção de que o Senhor tem bênçãos especiais para aqueles que são fiéis no dizimo? Só a ausência de tal convicção poderia impedir o grande privilégio de dizimar. Pensemos nisso.

= AS OUR TITHE WALKS? =

Our tithe is so common, because in fact the tithe is not ours, is the Lord. We did not give the tithe, but deliver the tithe.

And the question that serves as the title is all too timely in the beginning of this year. Yes, all members of the church had, indeed, we had the opportunity to see during the end 1993, the many difficulties that could be carried out successfully the work of God, because everything is very expensive and it is impossible to develop any programming, for that is simple, without spending considerable share in cash.

For this reason, we are aware that we must place so decisive, as the delivery of the tithe, correctly and regularly.

If among the dear readers of The Journal BATISTA brothers there, for whatever reason, does not deliver the tithe, or deliver it, do improperly, leaping months, for example, we believe the time is opportune for a thorough reflection. If we, as evangelicals, do not contribute effectively to the proclamation of the Gospel of Christ, which is urgent and must be immediately and completely, who provide the supplies of a material to work?

Obviously we have to pray, work, preaching, distributing leaflets, participate in worship, meetings, congresses, we have to sing, compose, execute instruments, writing for newspapers and magazines, EBD minister in ... but our participation will be complete without delivering the tithe to the Lord?

Dear brothers. The delivery of the tithe should be an attitude of faith, conviction. If the believer is convinced that it is a place reserved in the heavenly mansions, compared to its condition except as has not convinced that the Lord has special blessings for those who are faithful in tithing? Only the absence of such a conviction could prevent the great privilege of decimate. Think about it.
