= CONSAGRAÇÃO DE MULHERES AO MINISTÉRIO =

Muito se tem falado sobre a consagração de mulheres ao Ministério Pastoral. O conceituado obreiro e, sobretudo, grande homem de Deus, Pr. Nilson Dimarzio, em lapidares editoriais de O JORNAL BATISTA, tem tido suas pena guiada pelo Espírito Santo do Senhor e seus escritos têm sido por demais esclarecedores a respeito.

Todos têm o direito de se posicionar sobre o assunto que, sem sombra de duvida, vem gerando discussões inevitáveis nas reuniões de obreiros e, principalmente, nos encontros da cúpula denominacional. Mas não hesito em emitir minha opinião contrária à consagração de mulheres ao Ministério Pastoral, na expectativa de que possa ajudar a irmãos acaso claudicantes no particular. Não nego, e ninguém pode negar a elevada importância do trabalho das mulheres nos diversos setores da Igreja. E chego ate a afirmar, sem medo de cometer erro, que a “ala feminina” tem sido uma alavanca para o bom desempenho dos homens. Entretanto, há que se buscar base bíblica para assumir posição favorável. Entretanto, prezados leitores de O JORNAL BATISTA, não há base bíblica na doutrina clara do Novo Testamento para que mulheres sejam consagradas ao Ministério Pastoral e, por conseguinte, assumo posição contraria.

Do ponto-de-vista prático, também não há qualquer respaldo que justifique a consagração, até mesmo considerando que no Brasil, atualmente, existem 4.832 igrejas batista e 5.656 pastores (CBB - 02.12.93), e naturalmente sem contar os bacharelandos em Teologia do ano de 1993, o que faz crescer o número de obreiros em, no mínimo, dez por cento.

Que o Espírito Santo do Senhor ilumine todos os membros da denominação Batista, para que assumam sua posição cinvictamente a respeito do assunto, a fim de que as discussões doravante não sejam alimentadas por paixões e sim pela tranqüilidade orientação divina que o tema está a exigir.

= WOMEN’S CONSECRATION OF MINISTRY =

Much has been spoken about the consecration of women to pastoral ministry. The laborer worthy and above all, great man of God, Pr Nilson Dimarzio, cut in editorial of The Journal BATISTA, has had his sentence guided by the Holy Spirit of the Lord and his writings have been too informative about it.

Everyone has the right to stand on the issue that without a doubt, is inevitably leading discussions at meetings of workers and, especially, in the dome denominational meetings. But do not hesitate to give my opinion against the consecration of women to pastoral ministry in the expectation that nothing can help siblings claudicantes in particular. I do not deny, and nobody can deny the great importance of the work of women in various sectors of the Church. And get to the state, without fear of mistake, that the “feminine side” has been a lever for the performance of men. However, it is necessary to seek biblical basis for assuming favorable. Meanwhile, esteemed readers of The Journal BATISTA, there is no basis in the biblical doctrine of the New Testament clear that women are devoted to the Pastoral Ministry and, therefore, assume contrary position.

From the point of view practical, also there is no support to justify the consecration, even considering that in Brazil, currently there are 4,832 Baptist churches and pastors 5656 (CBB - 02.12.93), and of course not counting the bacharelandos in Theology for 1993, which is growing the number of workers in at least ten percent.

That the Holy Spirit of the Lord enlighten all members of the Baptist denomination, to take its position on the subject, so that future discussions are fed by passions but for the peace divine guidance that the issue is required.
