= PRESENÇA E REFLEXÃO =

Li, na edição de O JORNAL BATISTA de 24.10.93, o Ante-Projeto simplificado de Execução, relativamente a um programa de rádio a nível nacional, que a Convenção Batista Brasileira pretende lançar.

Antes de mais nada apresento aos queridos amigos, Dr. Arolde Oliveira e Pastor Nilson Fanini, bem como ao diácono Lyncoln Araújo (relator), que ainda não tive o prazer de conhecer, minhas congratulações pelo excelente trabalho que vem sendo realizado e como homem de imprensa escrita e falada não tenho a menor dúvida de que não faltará de todo o povo batista, especialmente das igrejas e seus obreiros, o necessário e tão indispensável apoio.

Minha sugestão, nesta oportunidade, é com relação aos nomes mais cotados e dentre eles, acredito que a fusão de dois deles será de bom efeito, ou seja, “Presença & Reflexão”. A idéia da presença Batista nos lares de todos os quadrantes do país estará associada à idéia de reflexão da vida, à luz dos ensinos bíblicos, segundo a orientação da denominação batista, que sempre manteve uma postura de fidelidade ao Senhor, nos ditames de sua santa Palavra, sem posições radicais que tantos prejuízos causam à propagação do Evangelho de Nosso Senhor e Salvador Jesus Cristo.

Aproveito o ensejo para falar a respeito da importância do lançamento da Rede Brasil Batista de Rádio no dia 6 de março do ano que vem - data dedicada às Missões Mundiais. Como bem afirma a Comissão, o Programa nasceria de mãos dadas com Missões sem dúvida alguma o objetivo final de qualquer empreendimento de proclamação da Palavra de Deus, seja a nível municipal, estadual, nacional ou mundial.

Oremos a Deus para que nós batistas sejamos encorajados para que mais este empreendimento denominacional desponte, como tantos outros, sustentado pelo Espírito Santo. Desde já coloco-me à disposição.

O Senhor nos abençoe e nos guarde. Amém.

= PRESENCE AND REFLECTION =

Li, in the edition of The Baptist Journal of 24.10.93, the Preliminary Design of Simplified Implementation for a radio program at the national level, the Brazilian Baptist Convention wants to launch.

First of all present to dear friends, Pastor and Dr. Arolde Oliveira, Nilson Fanini, and the deacon Lyncoln Araújo (Rapporteur), which has not yet had the pleasure to know, my congratulations on the excellent work being done and a man of print and spoken I have no doubt that not all of the people lack baptist, particularly the churches and their workers, so the necessary and indispensable support.

My suggestion, this time is related to the names listed and most of them, believe that the merger of two of them will be good effect, or “Presence & Reflection.” The idea of Batista in the presence of homes across the country will be linked to the idea of reflection of life in the light of biblical teachings, under the guidance of the Baptist denomination, which has always maintained a position of faithfulness to the Lord, the dictates of their holy word, that many radical positions without damage to the propagation of the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

I take this opportunity to speak on the importance of the launch of Brazil Baptist Radio Network on March 6 of next year - time devoted to World Missions. As the Commission says, the program born hand in hand with missions without doubt the ultimate goal of any business of proclaiming the Word of God is at municipal, state, national or global.

Let us pray to God that we Baptists are encouraged to further this venture denominational dawn, like many others, sustained by the Holy Spirit. Now I am available.
