= SÓ JESUS CRISTO SALVA =

Qualquer que seja a nossa pregação, ela se resume num pequeno slogan: só Jesus Cristo salva. Mais, prezados leitores, porque Jesus Cristo é o nosso Salvador? A resposta exige um rápido manuseio das Sagradas Escrituras. Jesus é o Nosso Salvador em razão de características especiais, próprias de sua natureza divina.

E quais são estas características?

A primeira delas tem por fundamento a perfeição. Jesus Cristo é o Salvador perfeito, em razão de manter-se puro. Sem cometer pecado contra Deus ou contra os homens. A Bíblia nos diz que antes da crucificação, Pilatos dirigiu-se aos presentes e fez uma histórica afirmação: “... não acho nele crime algum” (Jô 18.38). O apóstolo Pedro também foi enfático, ao referir-se a pureza do Divino Mestre: “... não cometeu pecado nem na sua boca se achou engano”. É de se ressaltar que no que diz respeito à perfeição, Jesus preservou seu interior e seu exterior livres da impureza, como “cordeiro imaculado e incontaminado” (1 Pe 1.19).

A segunda característica está no sacrifício vigário. Sim, sobre ele recaiu nossa culpa na cruz. O profeta e poeta foi cristalino quando escreveu que “... o Senhor fez cair sobre ele à iniqüidade de nós todos” (Is 53.6). Jesus levou em seu corpo os nossos pecados, para que, mortos para o pecado, pudéssemos viver para a justiça (1Pe 2.24). Sobre Jesus Cristo recaiu a morte, para que vivêssemos. Jesus Cristo, ao ressuscitar, o fez parar nossa justificação, conforme o escrito do apóstolo Paulo aos irmãos de Roma.

A terceira e última característica especial do Senhor, própria de sua natureza divina, está na justificação. Realmente Jesus Cristo é o Salvador que justifica. É o meio, pela graça, de nossa justificação perante Deus. Nele está a nossa redenção. Jesus cristo, prezados leitores de O JORNAL BATISTA, torna-se a nossa justiça mediante a fé na obra redentora do calvário. A justiça do Senhor é para todos os que nele crêem, ele é o pão de Deus e desceu do céu para, no mundo e para o mundo, realiza sua missão salvadora (Jo 6.33).

Só Jesus Cristo salva. E pelas razões que acabamos de expor, quais sejam, características especiais do Salvador: nunca pecou contra deus ou contra os homens; assumiu nossas culpas na cruz e, pela graça, mediante nossa fé, pode nos justificar diante de Deus.

= ALONE JESUS CHRIST SALVA =

Whatever our preaching, it is all a little slogan: Only Jesus Christ saves. More, esteemed readers, because Jesus Christ is our Savior? The answer requires a quick handling of the Scriptures. Jesus is Our Savior, because of special features, of your own divine nature.

And what are these characteristics?

The first one is based on the perfection. Jesus Christ the Savior is perfect, because to remain pure. Without committing sin against God and against men. The Bible tells us that before the crucifixion, Pilate sent to the present and made a historic statement: “... I do not think it a crime”(Jn 18:38). The apostle Peter was also emphatic, referring to the purity of the Divine Master: “... did not commit sin or in its mouth was found accidentally.” It should be emphasized that with respect to perfection, Jesus preserved its interior and its exterior free of impurity, such as lamb unblemished and uncontaminated (1 Pe 1:19).

The second feature is the sacrifice vicar. Yes, he fell on our guilt on the cross. The prophet was crystalline and poet when he wrote that “... you did fall on him the iniquity of us all” (Is 53.6). Jesus took his body our sins, so that, dead to sin, we live for justice (1Pe 2:24). Fell on Jesus Christ's death, to vivessemos. Jesus Christ, to resurrect, it did stop our justification, as the apostle Paul writing to the brethren in Rome.

The third and final special feature of the Lord, of his own divine nature, is the justification. Really is the Savior Jesus Christ that justifies. It means, by the grace of our justification before God. It is our redemption. Jesus Christ, esteemed readers of The Journal BATISTA, it is our faith in justice by the redemptive work of Calvary. The justice of the Lord is for all who believe he is the bread of God and fell from the sky for in the world and the world, makes its saving mission (Jn 6:33).

Only Jesus Christ saves. And for the reasons we have just explained, that is, features of the Savior: never sinned against God and against men, took our sins on the cross, and by grace through faith, can justify us before God.
