= FILHO PRÓDIGO, UMA GRANDE LIÇÃO PARA OS CRENTES =

Quando estudávamos, na Escola Bíblica Dominical, a lição “Como evangelizar os presidiários”, o professor fez uma observação muito oportuna. Disse que alguns irmãos ficam “enciumados” quando o pastor ou mesmo os líderes da igreja dão atenção especial aos crentes excluídos, quando estes fazem sua reconciliação e voltam pregando, participando de programas especiais, integrando comissões e tendo seus nomes indicados para concorrerem a cargos eletivos na congregação.

Na Parábola do Filho Pródigo, entre outras, está implícita uma grande mensagem para os crentes de modo geral. Quando um irmão, por quaisquer circunstancias, se afasta do convívio da igreja, seu retorno deve ser sempre motivo de júbilo e realmente merece atenções especiais. “Filho, tu estas sempre comigo e todos os meus bens são teus. Mas era preciso fazer festa e alegrar-se porque este teu irmão estava morto e voltou à vida, tinha-se perdido e foi encontrado” (Lc 15.11-32).

A partir do momento em que crente se reconcilia, não lhe deve ser feita nenhuma restrição. Todos os dons que possui devem ser usados causa do Evangelho. Bom seria que todos os crentes, que se acham neste momento excluídos de suas igrejas, buscassem a reconciliação e passassem a utilizar o potencial de dispõem para anunciar as Boas Novas da Salvação.

Acredito, até que muitos crentes, convictos, que poderiam ser instrumentos importantes na causa do Senhor, relutam em se reconciliar, por saberem que sua volta provocará ciúmes, neste ou naquele irmão. Pois, como na parábola do Filho Pródigo, serão alvo de “festa e alegria”.

Quando um ex-presidiário, autor de crime hediondo, cumpre sua pena e retoma a liberdade, em tendo se convertido na cadeia ou mesmo após deixá-la, invariavelmente também terá trato especial - que deveria partir de todos os irmãos - a fim de crescer na fé e, conseqüentemente, engajar-se no trabalho evangelístico, conforme suas aptidões. Na mesma lição, foi estudada a Parábola da Ovelha Perdida, ficando caracterizado que Jesus recebe os pecadores. Se um irmão se reconcilia ou um ex-presidiário, por exemplo, se converter, terão que receber trato especial, a fim de que possam experimentar crescimento espiritual e se transformar em mensageiros da Palavra de Deus. Se não houver o trato especial é bem possível que se enfraqueçam, espiritualmente, e dêem lugar às tentações do maligno e uma grande oportunidade para a igreja conquistar almas passe sem produzir frutos.

Exorto aos crentes, muito especialmente aos batistas, a refletirem sobre o que acabo de escrever. Minha igreja, recentemente, fez o Culto da Reconciliação. Enviou carta aos excluídos. Foi um culto especial. Aqueles que se reconciliaram foram recebidos festivamente por todos os irmãos.

= PRODIGAL CHILD, A GREAT LESSON FOR THE BELIEVERS =

When study did, Sunday Bible School, the lesson “How to evangelize the prisoners”, the teacher made a very timely observation. He said that some brothers are “jealous” when the pastor or the church leaders give special attention to excluded believers, when they do their preaching reconciliation and return, participating in special programs, including its committees and taking names to compete for elective office the congregation.

In the parable of the prodigal son, amongst others, is implied a great message to the believers in general. When a brother by any circumstances, if living away from the church, his return should be cause for joy and really deserves special attention. “Son, you are always with me and all my goods are yours. But it was necessary to feast and rejoice because this your brother was dead and came back to life, had been lost and found ”(Lk 15.11-32).

From the moment when believers are reconciled, it should be no restrictions. All the gifts that have to be used because of the Gospel. Good would be that all believers, who are now excluded from their churches, to seek reconciliation and to begin to use the potential to have to announce the Good News of Salvation.

I believe, by many believers, convinced that could be important in the cause of the Lord is reluctant to reconcile, because they know that their returns will jealousy, in this or that brother. Because as the parable of the prodigal son, will be subject to “feast and joy.”

When an ex-convict, author of heinous crime, it takes up the pen and its freedom in having become in jail or even after leaving it, invariably also get special treatment - they should from all the brothers - in order to grow in faith and, consequently, engage in the evangelistic work, as their skills. In the same lesson, we studied the parable of the lost sheep and is characterized that Jesus receives sinners. If reconciliation is a brother or an ex-convict, for example, if converted, would have to receive special treatment, so that they can experience spiritual growth and become a messenger of God's Word. If there is a special treat is quite possible that weaken, spiritually, and give rise to the temptations of evil and a great opportunity for the church to win souls pass without producing fruit.

I urge the believers, especially the Baptists, to reflect on what I just write. My church has recently made the Worship of Reconciliation. Letter sent to exclude. It was a special worship. Those who are reconciled festively received by all the brothers.
