= SALVAÇÃO: O MAIOR TITULO, OS MELHORES PRIVILÉGIOS =

Nasci no Rio de Janeiro, mas, em decorrência do trabalho de meu pai, estou em Três Ria; desde os dois anos de idade. Com uma vida inteira no município, estudando, trabalhando, criando os filhos e colaborando com a comunidade, mesmo que modestamente, a Câmara Municipal concedeu-me o honroso título de Cidadão Trirriense.

Quando prestei o serviço militar, o Ministério do Exército conferiu-me a Medalha “Marechal Hermes Aplicação e Estudo”, e ao terminar minha passagem pela caserna, fui agraciado com o diploma de “Menção Honrosa”.

Já recebi inúmeros cartões de prata e cartas de apresentação.

Cursei a Faculdade de Filosofia e registrei-me como professor junto ao MEC e, posteriormente, graduei-me em Direito.

Exerço minhas funções com o máximo zelo, como algo muito importante em minha vida. Afeito aos livros, fiz duas pós-graduações e uma extensão universitária e, na atualidade, procuro tirar o melhor proveito do Curso de Teologia, no Instituto Batista de Educação Teológica, de São Paulo.

Um leitor atento pode estar indagando: Qual a razão do “curriculum”? E respondo sem hesitação: é para dizer que cargos, títulos, medalhas honram a quem os possui, conferem privilégios, mas tão-somente na vida material. De nada valerá o diploma de advogado. De nada valerá a condecoração por mais significativa que seja. De nada valerá o cargo, por mais importante que seja, quando a morte levar o corpo ao pó e a alma, que sobrevive, tiver que prestar contas. Todas as nossas conquistas materiais findam aqui. Todos os títulos não poderão ser usados por outra pessoa, pois sobrevivem apenas na lembrança.

Orgulho-me sobremaneira de todos os títulos e privilégios que até agora consegui, entretanto, há um que está acima de tudo, ou seja, o de salvo, obtido através do sangue de Jesus Cristo vertido na cruz. O título de salvo e os privilégios que ele me concede conquistei quando abri meu coração para a verdade bíblica contida em João 3.16. Só o passaporte visado por Jesus Cristo vale como ingresso na porta do céu.

Que todas as pessoas que ainda não aceitaram Jesus Cristo como único e suficiente salvador, possam fazê-lo o mais rapidamente possível, pois as conquistas materiais são preciosas, causam orgulho, honram, são necessárias e muitas até mesmo imprescindíveis, mas não garantem eternidade na presença de Deus. A salvação da alma só é obtida pela graça de Deus e mediante manifestação de fé. Adquirindo o passaporte visado para o céu, a salvação, qualquer pessoa passa a ostentar o maior título e os melhores privilégios.

= SALVATION: THE BIGGEST TITLE, THE BETTER PRIVILEGES =

Born in Rio de Janeiro, but, due to the work of my father, I am Ria Three, since the two years of age. With a whole life in the city, studying, working, creating the children and collaborating with the community, even modestly, the City Council gave me the honorary title of Citizen Trirriense.

When the paid service, the Department of the Army gave me a medal “Marechal Hermes Study and Application,” and to finish my ticket for barracks, I was graced with the diploma of “Honorable Mention”.

I have already received countless cards and letters of presentation silver.

Curse the Faculty of Philosophy and registered me as a teacher at the MEC, and later majored in law to me.

Perform my duties with the utmost zeal, as something very important in my life. Wont to books, I made two post-graduate and a university extension and, nowadays, trying to make the best from the course of Theology, the Institute of Baptist Theological Education in Sao Paulo.

A careful reader may ask, What is the reason of “curriculum”? And answer without hesitation: it is to say which offices, titles and medals to honor those who have, confer privileges, but be only in material life. Nothing worth of the diploma of a lawyer. From the decoration for anything worth more significant it is. Nothing worth of the job, however important it may be, when death lead to dust the body and soul, which survives, has to be accountable. All our material achievements ending here. All titles may not be used by another person, it survives only in memory.

Me particularly proud of all the titles and privileges which have hitherto managed, however, one that is above all, that is, to save, obtained by the blood of Jesus Christ on the Cross translated. The title of safe and privileges that it grants conquered me when I opened my heart for the Bible truth contained in John 3:16. Only the passport stamped by Jesus Christ serves as the entrance door of heaven.

That all persons who have not accepted Jesus Christ as the sole and sufficient Savior, may do so as soon as possible, because the achievements are precious materials, cause pride, honor, and many are needed even essential, but do not guarantee eternity in presence of God. The salvation is obtained only by the grace of God and by expressions of faith. Purchasing your passport stamped to heaven, salvation, a person will bear the biggest and the best way privileges.
