= NÃO APENAS TER, MAS LER... =

Resido e trabalho em Três Rios, na região centro-sul fluminense. A cidade dispõe de muitas estações de rádio e, mais recentemente, passou a contar com o importante meio de comunicação - a televisão, através da TV Rio-Sul.

No ano passado, mais exatamente no dia 17 de junho, eu estava ouvindo a Rádio Três-Rios, a mais antiga (foi nela que dei meus primeiros passos na imprensa) e na ocasião falava um representante de comunidades periféricas. Lembro-me de que ele dizia que todos nós devemos ter em casa um exemplar da Constituição Federal, o mandamento maior do ordenamento jurídico pátrio.

Lembro-me, também, que ele fez outra afirmação, ou seja: “outro livro que todos deveriam ter em casa, e ler, é a Bíblia Sagrada”.

Resolvi trazer este fato ao nosso querido O JORNAL BATISTA, para que os prezados leitores atentem para um detalhe. Não apenas ter em casa, mas ler. Sim, ler a Bíblia, esta dádiva do Senhor. Quantos, até mesmo crentes, têm a Bíblia mas não encontram tempo para uma leitura diária.

A Bíblia é um presente de Deus para nós. Foi escrita por homens, mas inspirados pelo Santo Espírito. Contém o recado do Senhor para todos nós. Ela se destina à humanidade inteira, sem distinção de raça, sexo, idade, formação secular ou situação econômico-financeira.

Não falo apenas como crente. Como advogado, posso assegurar que as Sagradas Escrituras são conclusivas sobre quaisquer assuntos. E para que não fique apenas a minha palavra, devo dizer que o Dr. lrwin Linton, advogado, escreveu o livro “A Lawyer examines the Bible”, afirmando que a Bíblia, em suas narrativas, nos dá a data e o lugar das coisas descritas com máxima precisão e cita Lucas 3.1-2, que nomeia 7 autoridades a fim de especificar o tempo em que Jesus Cristo iniciou o seu ministério.

Não basta ter, é necessário ler a Bíblia Sagrada.

Que tal um exemplar da Bíblia, como presente no Dia das Mães?

Live and work in Three Rivers in the central-south fluminense. The city has many radio stations and, more recently, was assigned the important means of communication - the television through the TV Rio-Sul.

Last year, more exactly on June 17th, I was listening to Radio Three-Rivers, the oldest (it was I gave my first steps in the press) and a representative spoke on the occasion of the peripheral communities. I remember he said that we should take home a copy of the Federal Constitution, the greatest commandment of the legal mother.

I remember, too, he made another statement, namely: “another book that everyone should have at home, and read is the Holy Bible”.

Decided to bring this fact to our dear The OFFICIAL BATISTA so esteemed readers care to a detail. Not only have at home, but read. Yes, read the Bible, the gift of the Lord. How many, even believers, the Bible has not been time for a daily reading.

The Bible is a gift from God to us. It was written by men but inspired by the Holy Spirit. Contains the message of the Lord for all of us. It covers the whole world, without distinction of race, sex, age, education or secular economic and financial situation.

I speak not only as a believer. As a lawyer, I can assure that the Scriptures are conclusive on any subject. And that is not only my word, I must say that Dr. Linton lrwin, lawyer, wrote the book “The Lawyer examine the Bible,” claiming that the Bible in their narratives, gives us the date and place of the things described with maximum precision and cites Luke 3.1-2, 7 appointing authorities to specify the time when Jesus Christ began his ministry.

Not sufficient, you must read the Holy Bible.
