= VOTE NO REI =

Dentro de pouco tempo será realizada em nosso país uma consulta popular para escolha da forma de governo. Fala-se em presidencialismo, fala-se em parlamentarismo e se fala, também, em monarquia.

Cada um votará segundo a sua consciência, secretamente mas há algo que nos chama a atenção na propaganda eleitoral da monarquia. Aparece uma coroa e a expressão “vote no rei”.

Independentemente do voto que daremos para a escolha da forma de governo, poderíamos todos nós votar no rei, ou seja, no Rei Jesus. Quem já é convertido, posicionando-o como Senhor de sua vida, e quem ainda não é, aceitando-o como único e suficiente Salvador.

Pensemos nisso, quando aparecer na televisão aquela coroa. Pensemos no tríplice significado que a coroa, não de metal brilhante como a da propaganda, mas de espinhos, que foi colocada na cabeça de Jesus Cristo durante a sua crucificação. Foi uma coroa de sofrimento, pois os espinhos penetraram na fronte. E lá os espinhos representaram o pecado e a maldição, e Jesus Cristo foi feito pecado e maldição em nosso lugar. Foi uma coroa de escárnio, pois, tentaram, inutilmente, mostrar para os circunstantes que o Senhor era o soberano falso, e cuspiram nele. Foi uma coroa de desprezo “Salva-te a ti mesmo...” Desprezo e rejeição que ainda se constatam nos dias atuais.

Mas, prezados leitores a coroa de espinhos de Jesus Cristo foi transformada em Coroa de Vitória indicativa do triunfo sobre os seus adversários; representativa do triunfo que Jesus Cristo realizou por nós, uma vez que conquistou a vitória sobre a morte, sobre o pecado e sobre o inferno, podendo, assim, transformar espinhos em bênçãos. Foi a coroa de vitória garantia de que todos os que aceitam a Cristo como Senhor e Salvador, também receberão uma coroa de vida (Tg 1.12).

Vote no Rei, no Rei Jesus! Amém!

= VOTE FOR THE KING =

Will soon be held in our country a popular consultation to choose the form of government. We talk about presidential, parliamentary talks about and we talk, too, monarchy.

Each vote according to their conscience, but secretly something we drew attention to the canvass of the monarchy. One crown and the words “vote for king”.

Regardless of who we vote to choose the form of government, we could all vote on the king, or in King Jesus. Who is already converted, positioning it as Lord of your life, and who still is not accepting it as the only and sufficient Savior.

Think about it, when it appears on television that crown. Consider the significance of the triple crown, not shiny metal as propaganda, but of thorns that was placed on the head of Jesus Christ during his crucifixion. It was a crown of suffering, because the thorns penetrated the forehead. And there were the thorns sin and curse, and Jesus Christ was made sin and curse in our place. It was a crown of mockery therefore tried, uselessly, to show that surrounding the sovereign Lord was false, and spit on it. It was a crown of contempt “Save you yourself ...” Contempt and rejection is still there today.

But, dear readers the crown of thorns of Jesus Christ was transformed into the Crown Victoria indicative of the triumph over their adversaries, representing the victory that Jesus Christ made for us, since it won the victory over death, about sin and about to hell so they can turn thorns into blessings. The crown of victory was assured that all who accept Christ as Lord and Savior, will also receive a crown of life (T 1.12).

Vote for King, the King Jesus! Amen!
