= COMO VAI NOSSO MINISTÉRIO PROFÉTICO? =

Segundo a linguagem dos judeus, as principais palavras usadas para descrever o profeta eram Ro’eh e Chozeh, com o significado de ver e Nabi, que é sinônimo de anunciar ou proclamar. Desta forma, o profeta era a pessoa que recebia mensagens do Senhor e as transmita ao povo. Os ministérios dos profetas se estenderam por muitos anos, desde o tempo dos juízes até o encerramento dos escritos do Velho Testamento, mas não há dúvida de que foi durante o período dos reis que a atividade dos agentes de Deus, como eram chamados, alcançaram maior proeminência.

Alguns profetas, apesar de conhecido e de terem desenvolvido trabalho relevante, não deixaram mensagens escritas, tais como Elias (870 a.C.) e Eli8zau (850 a.C.), que figuram entre os primeiros profetas do Velho Testamento.

Examinando as Escrituras Sagradas, concluímos que os profetas eram, normalmente, vocacionados, mas surgiam também em ocasiões criticas, emergências, transmitindo ao povo todos os recados de Deus.

Dentre os profetas que entregaram mensagens claras, positivas, sem rodeios, aparecem Amós (760 a.C), que viveu durante o reinado de Jeroboão II, de Israel. Amós apontou um a um os pecados do povo afastado de Deus: imoralidade, bebedice, ganância, injustiça, roubo, desprezo ao pobre, negligencia ante os deveres espirituais e completo isolamento do Senhor. Na época de Amós o povo praticava uma religião exterior, artificial, que desagradava profundamente a Deus, pos era egoísta, cruel, mundana. Por incrível que pareça, o povo era um povo mal.

E na atualidade? Como tem andado nosso ministério profético? Incumbe-nos, hoje, levar a mensagem de Deus às pessoas. Falar sobre a necessidade de buscar no Senhor o perdão dos pecados. Mas, será que como Amós, que individualizou as iniquidades do povo, temos condições de afirmar, de cabeça erguida, que a humanidade incrédula vem cometendo adultério, fornicação, seqüestro, usando drogas, usando mal sua língua, pisoteando os mais humildes, negando um prato de comida a um faminto, ou nossa vida tem sido muito perecida com a dos israelitas do passado, ao ponto de nos emudecer e nos encher de vergonha, impedindo que desenvolvamos nosso ministério profético? Reflitamos.

= HOW OUR PROPHETIC MINISTRY GOES? =

Segundo the language of the Jews, the key words used to describe the prophet were Ro’eh and Chozeh, meaning to see and Nabi, which is synonymous to announce or proclaim. Thus the prophet was the person who received messages from the Lord and pass the people. The ministries of the prophets is extended for many years, since the time of the judges until the end of the Old Testament writings, but there is no doubt that it was during the period of kings that the activity of the agents of God, as they were called, reached higher prominence.

Some prophets, although known to have developed and relevant work, no longer written messages, such as Elias (870 BC) and Eli8zau (850 BC), which are among the first prophets of the Old Testament.

Examining the Holy Scriptures, we find that the prophets were usually targeted, but also at times appeared critical, emergency, sending all messages to the people of God.

Among the prophets who delivered messages clear, positive, frankly, appear Amos (760 BC) who lived during the reign of Jeroboam II, Israel. Amos pointed out one by one the sins of the people away from God, immorality, bebedice, greed, injustice, theft, contempt for poor, ante neglect spiritual duties and complete isolation of the Lord. And nowadays? As has been our prophetic ministry? It us today, to bring the message of God to people. Speaking on the need to seek the Lord for forgiveness of sins. But be that as Amos, who identify the iniquities of the people we able to say, the head up, incredulous that humanity is committing adultery, fornication, kidnapping, using drugs, using their bad language, trampling the most humble, denying a plate of food to a hungry, or our life has been very perished with the Israelis in the past, to the point that the mute and fill with shame, preventing develop our prophetic ministry? Reflect.
