= SALVO PARA SEMPRE =

Certa ocasião saímos para visitação. Eu, outro irmão e o pastor. Chegamos na residência de um ex-membro da igreja. Fora excluído por situação de pecado e não mais se reconciliou. Conversamos com ele, com sua esposa, e na oportunidade o irmão visitado deixou bem claro que estava experimentando os açoites de Deus, e todos através de alguns acontecimentos que vinham marcando sua vida.

Posteriormente, o irmão que nos acompanhou e ao pastor naquela visita, fez um comentário: “É, o nosso irmão (referindo-se ao excluído) está no caminho da perdição!”.

Quanta heresia, prezados leitores. O salvo por Jesus Cristo também peca. Aliás, a Bíblia afirma exatamente assim: “Se dissermos que não temos pecado nenhum, enganamo-nos a nós mesmos, e a verdade não está em nós” (1Jo 1.8). E a salvação não é algo frágil, passageiro. Ao contrário, tem solidez e eternidade. As Sagradas Escrituras (Jo 10.28) nos asseguram que as ovelhas do Senhor jamais perecerão e nada as tira de suas mãos. Impossível ao salvo trilhar o caminho da perdição, pois nada, nem mesmo o pecado, evidentemente, consegue arrebatar os filhos de Deus. A aceitar como verdadeiro o comentário a respeito do irmão excluído, tem-se que admitir, mas sem respaldo bíblico, é claro, que um crente perde sua salvação.

O máximo que se pode dizer, a respeito de um irmão que esteja em pecado, é que não está resistindo ao maligno; não está sendo fiel para com Deus; não tem colocado as coisas do Senhor em plano principal; não está dando um bom testemunho; não está se aperfeiçoando espiritualmente; não está permitindo que o Santo Espírito preencha todos os espaços de sua vida; não está buscando saúde espiritual e não está experimentando as grandiosas e indispensáveis bênçãos dos céus.

E o que se deve fazer, de imediato, é orar. Orar incessantemente, intercedendo pelo irmão enfraquecido. Paralelamente, continuar com os contatos pessoais, objetivando fazê-lo entender que o salvo por Jesus Cristo deve desfrutar das alegrias da salvação antes mesmo de sua partida para a eternidade.

Trilhando o caminho da perdição está a pessoa que insiste em não aceitar a salvação que graciosamente Jesus Cristo oferece.

Aliás, é justamente para que o pecado não leve o ser humano para o inferno, que Deus providenciou o plano de salvação, cujo ponto culminante ocorreu no Calvário.

O pecado não altera a condição de salvo. Se alterasse, uma pessoa perdida, que aceitasse a Cristo na hora do almoço e, salva, cometesse um pecado trinta minutos depois, morrendo em seguida, acabaria no fogo eterno. Mas isso não tem fundamento na doutrina bíblica da redenção.

Independentemente do pensamento ou da interpretação deste ou daquele irmão, busquemos, sim, a cada dia, aperfeiçoar nossa vida cristã, resistindo ao diabo e fugindo do mal, buscando cada vez mais a santificação.

One occasion went to visit. I, another brother and the pastor. We arrived at the home of a former member of the church. Outside excluded by state of sin and no longer be reconciled. The Holy Scriptures (Jn 10.28) ensure that the sheep in the Lord and not take them perish from their hands. Unable to walk unless the path of perdition, because nothing, not even sin, of course, to snatch the children of God. To accept as true the comment about the brother excluded, has to admit, but without biblical support, it is clear that a believer lose his salvation.

The most that can be said, about a brother who is in sin, that is not resisting the evil, is not being faithful to God, has not put the things of the Lord in the main, is not giving a good testimony, is not improving spiritually, is not allowing the Holy Spirit fill all the spaces of his life, is not seeking spiritual health and not experiencing the great and indispensable blessings of heaven.

And what should be done, immediately, is pray. Pray unceasingly, the brother interceded weakened. In parallel, continue with the personal contacts, to do so understand that except for Jesus Christ to enjoy the joys of salvation even before his departure for eternity.

Track the path of ruin is the person who insists on not graciously accept the salvation that Jesus Christ offers.

It is precisely for that sin does not take human beings to hell, that God provided the plan of salvation, whose peak occurred at Calvary.

The sin does not change the condition safe. If changed, a person lost, to accept Christ in the hour of lunch, and saved, committed a sin thirty minutes later, dying then eventually in eternal fire. But that does not exist in biblical doctrine of redemption.

Regardless of thought or interpretation of this or that brother, seek, yes, every day, perfect our Christian life, resisting the devil and the evil away, looking increasingly sanctification.
