= CRENTE FIEL =

Durante nossa modesta trajetória, proclamando as Boas Novas da Salvação, defrontamo-nos com pessoas das mais diferentes regiões do país e cada uma delas tem um caso para nos contar. Lembramo-nos de um, que sem dúvida ministra lições para todos nós.

Um crente, antigo, atuando na igreja, experimentou crescente sucesso em suas atividades profissionais. Conquistou um patrimônio invejável, fruto de intenso trabalho, muita economia e singular visão empresarial no ramo de construção civil.

Quando as diversas casas de moradia que integravam seus bens atingiram o número dez, todas de excelente padrão e mais ou menos valendo preço igual, ele, casualmente, conversou com um outro irmão, e fez uma confissão:

_ É, irmão. Tenho este patrimônio imenso, mas um grande peso na consciência. Daria tudo que possuo para acabar com um sentimento de culpa, que tanto me atormenta, tanto me pesa.

_ Mas o que houve? Fale...

_ As últimas dez casas que consegui foi no período em que deixei de entregar o dízimo.

_ Ora, irmão. Não se preocupe. Não precisa “dar tudo”, como afirmou há pouco. Doe uma casa apenas, para a obra do Senhor e, doravante, não se esqueça de entregar a parte que pertence a Deus.

Aqui, prezados leitores, está um exemplo de crente fiel. Sim, foi displicente, mas não perdeu a sua fidelidade, pois chamou o pastor e passou uma casa para o nome igreja, a fim de usá-la no trabalho do Mestre. Se não fosse fiel, não teria a sensibilidade suficiente para tocar-lhe a mente, não ousaria confessar ao irmão e não faria a doação.

E nós? Temos sido fiéis, displicentes no dízimo, ou temos sido infiéis? Deus não despreza os infiéis, sabemos – aliás, tema de sermão que proferimos recentemente, mas, reflitamos: será que temos alguns inquilinos em imóveis que não nos pertencem, ou será que não estamos andando em carros que não são nossos?

= BELIEVER FEEL =

During our modest way, proclaiming the Good News of Salvation, defrontamo us with more people from different regions of the country and each one has a case to tell us. We remember one, which undoubtedly Minister lessons for us all.

A believer, old, working in the church, had growing success in their professional activities. Won an enviable heritage, the fruit of hard work, very unique vision and entrepreneurial economy in the construction industry.

When the various places of residence that made its goods have reached the number ten, all of excellent standard and more or less equal price worth it, casually, spoke with another brother, and made a confession:

_ It is, brother. I have this huge wealth, but a heavy burden on his conscience. Everything would have to overcome a sense of guilt, that torments me, so I weigh..

_ But what happened? Talk...

_ The last ten houses that it was left in the period in which to deliver the tithe.

_ Now, brother. Do not worry. No need to “give everything”, as stated earlier. Donate one box only for the work of the Lord, and now, do not forget to deliver the part that belongs to God.

Here, dear readers, is an example of a true believer. Yes, it was displeasing, but not lost his loyalty, because the pastor called and passed a house name for the church to use it in the work of the Master. If it were not true, would not have the sensitivity enough to touch it to mind, dare not confess to her brother and would not make a donation.

And we? We have been faithful, displeasing the tithe, or have been unfaithful? God does not despise the infidels, we know - indeed, the subject of that sermon delivered recently, but reflect: do we have some tenants in buildings that do not belong in, or are we going into cars that are not ours?
