= A TRISTEZA DE UM JORNAL... =

Aprendi, ainda cedo, que dentre os recursos da comunicação está a “linguagem figurada”, que pode ser usada de várias maneiras, pela versatilidade que impõe à construção frasal.

E agora vou usar uma linguagem figurada, referindo-me ao nosso querido O JORNAL BATISTA, na expectativa de que possa traduzir, com a máxima fidelidade, o que percebi quando chegou-me às mãos a última edição: o nosso seminário informativo-doutrinário está “triste”. Sim, prezados leitores, às vezes chega “às lágrimas”, ao constatar que ainda é muito grande o número de pessoas, especialmente pertencentes à denominação batista, que não o assina.

E quantas informações importantes, que mostram o crescimento do trabalho batista, nos diferentes pontos do país, estão estampadas nas páginas de O JORNAL BATISTA, e que não devem ficar fora do conhecimento de todos os irmãos.

São tantas que seria impossível mostrá-las aqui, mas apenas para exemplificar, relembramos algumas, dadas a público nestes primeiros meses de 1992:

A PIB de Niterói, liderada pelo consagrado Pr. Nilson Fanini, completou 100 anos, recebendo homenagem em selo comemorativo e realizando o batismo de nº 5.000 pelas mãos daquele grande homem de Deus.

O apreciado cantor evangélico Luiz de Carvalho completando 40 anos de ministério através da música.

Um obreiro batista, Pr. Higyno Teixeira de Souza, comemorando o primeiro centenário de vida e em plena atividade pastoral.

O conceituado Seminário Teológico Batista do Norte do Brasil completando 90 anos de fundação.

E tantas outras notícias mostrando que, orientada pelo Espírito Santo, a denominação batista tem procurado transformar o mundo, através da proclamação do evangelho de Cristo e, sobretudo, fiel testemunho cristão.

O irmão que não esteve na 73ª Assembléia da CBB, em Londrina, pode edificar-se em muito e progredir espiritualmente e lendo, em O JORNAL BATISTA, o sermão oficial, lá proferido pelo eminente porta-voz do Senhor, Pr. César Thomé.

Prezado irmão. Inclua em seu orçamento anual uma assinatura de O JORNAL BATISTA.

= THE SADNESS OF THE NEWSPAPER =

I learned even earlier, that among the resources of communication is the figured language that can be used in many ways, the versatility imposing sentence construction.

And now I use a language Figurata, referring me to our beloved The OFFICIAL BATISTA, hoping that can translate, with the utmost fidelity, which I realized when I came to the hands the last issue: our information seminar-doctrinal is “sad.” Yes, dear readers, sometimes enough “to tears”, to see that it is still very large number of people, especially belonging to the Baptist denomination, not the signs.

And how important information showing the growth of Baptist work in different parts of the country, are printed in the pages of The Official BATISTA, which should not be outside the knowledge of all the brothers.

So many that it would be impossible to show them here, but only to illustrate, some remember, given the public in these first months of 1992:

The GDP of Niterói, led by Pr devoted Nilson Fanini, completed 100 years, receiving commemorative stamp in honor and doing the baptism of No 5000 by the hands of that great man of God.

The assessed Gospel singer Luiz de Carvalho completing 40 years of ministry through music.

A worker batist, Pr Higyno Teixeira de Souza, commemorating the first centennial of life, and in pastoral activity.

And many other reports showing that, guided by the Holy Spirit, the Baptist denomination has sought to transform the world through the proclamation of the gospel of Christ, and above all faithful Christian witness.
