COLUMN TO VOICE OF A SHEPHERD

 

= A VISÃO DE CALEBE =

Quando nos dispomos a realizar um empreendimento qualquer normalmente surgem vozes para evidenciar as eventuais dificuldades que podem aflorar. Mas a verdade é que não podemos ficar desanimados, mesmo que tudo nos diga que momentos difíceis estão a nos esperar.

Qualquer que seja o projeto que queiramos executar, seja no âmbito da Igreja ou fora dela, nossa visão deve ser sempre a “Visão de Calebe”, isto é, uma visão ampliada, que enxergue muito além de eventuais dificuldades.

Quando Moisés enviou espias para avaliar a terra de Canaã, muitos, com uma visão curta, limitada, enxergando muito perto, olhando apenas para hoje, diziam que seria impossível entrar na terra, pois o povo era forte, invencível

Mas apareceu a Visão de Calebe! Uma Visão ampliada, olhando por cima das dificuldades, olhando para mais longe, para amanhã. Calebe, um dos espias, ignorou os problemas enfatizados pelos colegas e se reportou à fertilidade do lugar. Colocou como destaque o cacho de uvas colhido no Vale do Escol, um cacho tão grande que eram necessárias duas pessoas para carregá-lo pendurado em uma vara (Números 13:23).

Procuremos irmãos ter sempre a Visão de Calebe, uma Visão ampliada, que seja muito além das dificuldades, como abençoou e está abençoando os amados irmãos.

= THE VISION OF CALEB =

When we have to undertake a venture any voices usually come to highlight any difficulties that may raise. But the truth is that we can not be discouraged, even if everything they tell us that in difficult times are expected.

Whatever the project we want run, either within or outside the church, our vision must always be the "Vision of Caleb," ie, a broader view, we see far beyond any difficulties.

When Moses sent spies to assess the land of Canaan, many with a short vision, limited, seen closely, looking only for today, said that it would be impossible to enter the land because the people were strong, invincible.

But the vision came to Caleb! A broader view, looking over the difficulties, looking further afield, for tomorrow. Caleb, one of the spies, ignored the problems highlighted by colleagues and is reported to the fertility of the place. As the emphasis placed bunch of grapes harvested in the Valley School, a cluster so large that two people were needed to load it into a hanging rod (Numbers 13:23).

Brothers try to keep the vision of Caleb, a larger vision that is far beyond the difficulties, as blessed and is blessing the beloved brothers.
